The historical adventure film is based on a beautiful legend about khan's lost treasures. During the siege of Kazan by Ivan the Terrible, great khan’s wife finds untold wealth hidden in the lake Kaban. And for 500 years, the fate of the treasure is unknown. A Russian playboy (Alexei Vorobyov) – comes to Kazan, where he meets a Tatar girl (Elvira Ibragimova), with whom he starts looking for the treasures of Kazan’s last khan at the bottom of Lake Kaban. The girl does it for altruistic reasons while the hero does it for the sake of the treasure itself.
