Based on a true events Plastic tells the story of a ring of university students led by Sam (Ed Speelers) who become credit card thieves in order to supplement their income. Events soon spiral out of control as they accidentally rob a notorious gangster Marcel (Thomas Kretschmann). Now owing a bigger debt then ever, the students decide to target big spenders who frequent Miami on spending sprees.
