In 1938, Latvian counterintelligence officer Baltais travels to a tense border town under a journalist’s cover to recover classified information and expose a Russian agent. There, he finds himself in a place balanced on the edge between two worlds - loyalty and betrayal, truth and deception. His mission soon becomes personal when he uncovers secrets tied to the unsolved murder of the woman he once loved. Movie is in Latvian with subtitles in English.
