RIGA-2041 is a combination of several stories depicting the pursuit of happiness. The story takes place in Riga – city overwhelmed by the cult of happiness. It abounds in commercials of different inventions and technologies claiming to solve any problem. Protagonists change their looks for good; real humans are replaced by projections; “happiness doctor” is a sought-after profession. The viewer can decide for himself, whether happiness can be found in technological solutions, or are we still responsible for our own happiness.
