Film director Julie returns to her ancestral home with her mother Rosalind and her dog. The house where Julie spent her childhood has been transformed into a remote hotel. They are the only guests. As they celebrate Rosalind's birthday and Julie hopes to finish a screenplay, the building's mysterious past is slowly revealed. The two women's memories collide: while Rosalind remembers the place with a sense of sadness, Julie has only experienced the good. The film is in English with subtitles in Latvian.
