Forum Cinemas Latvia OU filiāle Latvijā runs two cinemas in Riga — Forum Cinemas Centrs and Forum Cinemas AKROPOLE Alfa. The company has been operating in Latvia since 1993.

  8 auditoriums with 1,229 seats and 22 wheelchair spaces, in a shopping centre with free parking.

How it started

The company began by modernising the image and sound quality of the "Pionieris" cinema, later renamed "Oskars", and then rebuilt the "Daile" cinema as the first duplex in Latvia. At the end of 2003 Forum Cinemas Centrs opened its doors as the first multiplex in Latvia. In September 2026 a second cinema followed, Forum Cinemas AKROPOLE Alfa.

What we show

The number of films and other events released each year has grown to almost 500. And not only films: opera, ballet and theatre, special screenings, Cinema Cult classics, film festivals and live sport. We aim to bring films to Latvian screens as soon as possible after their world premiere.

Image and sound

We install the most advanced equipment in each of our cinemas. The PEPSI auditorium at Forum Cinemas Centrs has the largest cinema screen in Northern Europe — 242 m² (24.20 m wide and 10 m high) — with Dolby Atmos sound and a 4K laser projector. About PEPSI and LUX
