Terms of Use of Cinema Gift Cards

Cinema Gift Cards

For Cinema Gift Cards issued before 28.11.2024, please refer to Cinema Gift Tickets terms.

Cinema Gift Tickets

These terms apply to Classic Cinema Gift Tickets, Premium Cinema Gift Tickets, and Children’s Cinema Gift Tickets: 

  • Purchase Locations: Cinema Gift Tickets can be purchased at Forum Cinemas box offices or online at www.forumcinemas.lv.
  • Validity: Cinema Gift Tickets are valid for 6 months from the day after purchase unless otherwise stated for promotional offers. The expiration date is indicated on the Gift Ticket.
  • Usage:
    • Classic Cinema Gift Ticket is valid for one person for a single movie screening (2D or 3D) up to a value of €10.20.
    • Premium Cinema Gift Ticket is valid for one person for a single movie screening (2D or 3D) up to a value of €14.90, including Premium auditoriums such as PEPSI, Delfi LUX, and 4 LUX.
    • Children’s Cinema Gift Ticket is valid for one child up to 12 years old (inclusive) for a single movie screening in any cinema auditorium when exchanged for a “Child” category ticket.
  • Ticket Exchange: Cinema Gift Tickets must be exchanged for movie tickets at Forum Cinemas box offices or online at www.forumcinemas.lv before the screening.
  • Ticket Categories: Classic and Premium Gift Tickets are valid only for “Adult” or “Events” ticket categories.
  • Price Difference:
    • If the Gift Ticket value is less than the movie ticket price, the difference must be paid.
    • No refund is given if the Gift Ticket value exceeds the ticket price.
  • Restrictions:
    • Gift Tickets cannot be used for special events or film festivals (e.g., MET Opera screenings, Riga IFF). Refer to individual event descriptions for details.
    • Unused Gift Tickets cannot be exchanged or extended after their expiration date.
  • Prohibited Use: Reselling or commercial use of Gift Tickets without Forum Cinemas authorization is prohibited.

Forum Cinemas Gift Cards

  • Purchase Locations: Forum Cinemas Gift Cards can be purchased at Forum Cinemas box offices or online at www.forumcinemas.lv.
  • Validity: Gift Cards are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. The expiration date is indicated on the card and cannot be extended.
  • Usage: Gift Cards can be used for multiple purchases across all Forum Cinemas sales points, including:
    • Forum Cinemas box offices
    • PopHouse and Hot’n Fresh (2nd floor)
    • Vertigo Bar (6th floor)
    • Online at www.forumcinemas.lv
    • Forum Cinemas mobile apps
  • Redemption: Inform cinema staff when paying with a Gift Card. At self-service kiosks, scan the QR code printed on the card. To use a Gift Card online or in the app, enter the unique card code at checkout.
  • Price Difference: If the purchase amount exceeds the Gift Card value, the difference must be paid. No refund is provided if the purchase is less than the Gift Card value.
  • Restrictions:
    • Gift Cards cannot be returned or exchanged for cash.
    • Unused balance expires 12 months after the purchase date.
    • Expired Gift Cards are automatically deactivated and cannot be reactivated or extended.
    • Reselling or commercial use of Gift Cards without Forum Cinemas authorization is prohibited.

PopHouse Gift Vouchers

  • Purchase Locations: PopHouse Gift Vouchers can be purchased at Forum Cinemas box offices or online at www.forumcinemas.lv.
  • Validity: PopHouse Gift Vouchers are valid for 6 months from the day after purchase unless otherwise stated for promotional offers. The expiration date is indicated on the voucher.
  • Usage: Vouchers can be redeemed at the PopHouse café (2nd floor, Forum Cinemas).
  • Redemption: PopHouse Gift Vouchers must be exchanged for the specified snack and drink combo purchased with the voucher.
  • Price Difference: No compensation is given for differences between the voucher value and the product price.
  • Restrictions:
    • Unused vouchers cannot be exchanged or extended after their expiration date.
    • Reselling or commercial use of vouchers without Forum Cinemas authorization is prohibited.

e-Vouchers

  • Purchase Location: e-Vouchers can only be purchased online at www.forumcinemas.lv.
  • Format: e-Vouchers are only available electronically and cannot be printed or forwarded.
  • Validity: e-Vouchers are valid for 6 months from the day of the purchase.
  • Usage:
    • e-Vouchers are valid for one person for a single movie screening (2D or 3D) at Forum Cinemas, excluding Premium auditoriums (PEPSI and LUX).
    • e-Vouchers must be exchanged for tickets at Forum Cinemas box offices, online at www.forumcinemas.lv, or through the mobile app.
  • Price Difference: No compensation is given for differences between the e-Voucher value and the ticket price.
  • Restrictions:
    • e-Vouchers are not valid for special events, such as film festivals, opera and ballet screenings, concerts, sports broadcasts, etc.
    • Unused e-Vouchers cannot be exchanged or extended after their expiration date.​
