Kosmo (35) was once a sought-after electronic music producer and DJ. But after a conflict with his best friend and creative partner on the very night that was supposed to become their big career breakthrough, he walks away from the stage. During his absence, a new generation of DJs rises to fame, and Kosmo slowly fades into obscurity. Before giving up on music completely, Kosmo comes up with one final plan to overcome his past failure and revive his career. When he learns that his idol — legendary techno pioneer Troy Porter (57) — will perform at the club he once loved most, Kosmo decides to embark on a mission to personally hand him his latest vinyl record.
