The Jane Austen film year continues with director Ang Lee’s 1995 adaptation Sense and Sensibility, which celebrates its 30th anniversary this year. One of the lead roles was played by the acclaimed British actress Emma Thompson, who also adapted novel adapted for the big screen and won an Academy Award or "Oscar" for her work!

After the death of Mr. Dashwood (Tom Wilkinson), the Dashwood family takes a step down in society and faces hardship as they are four women virtually penniless. Elinor (Dame Emma Thompson) and Marianne (Kate Winslet), two sisters with different perspectives on life and interests, keep each other in line and support each other through death, hardship, love, and friendship.

Movie is in English with subtitles in Latvian and Russian.
