Elphaba now demonized as The Wicked Witch, lives in exile, and continues to fight for the freedom of Oz’s silenced Animals and trying to expose The Wizard. Glinda has become the glamorous symbol of Goodness, revelling in the perks of fame. She prepares to marry Prince Fiyero, but her heart is saddened by her separation from Elphaba. As mob rises against the Wicked Witch, both will need to come together. Their friendship now is the fulcrum of their futures, to change themselves and Oz for good.
