In 2015, filmmaker Ivars Seleckis began his work on the documentary "To Be Continued" following five Latvian children in their first year of school.

Seven years later directors Ivars Seleckis and Armands Začs revisit the protagonists who are now 14 years old. Some have grown up during these seven years, some seem to be still lingering in childhood. While for Zane the only duty at home is to tidy up her room, Anastasia has to take her little brother to the kindergarten and take care of the livestock. While Kārlis gives mother to check his homework every evening and Gleb’s parents plan his daily routine hour by hour, Anete is allowed to live alone in the Riga apartment for a whole week.

The movie is in Latvian with subtitles in English.
