Peter moves with his younger sister Verity and parents into a grand new home. Upon their arrival Verity beckons him to explore the village, where they discover a mysterious artefact. That night the youngsters are drawn into a bizarre and fantastical world that exists beneath our own, where they are captured by a horde of pangolins. Driven by prophecy and myth, this world sees Peter as its king and saviour, leading the troubled youngster on a perilous quest through this strange new world.

The movie is dubbed in Latvian and Russian (with subtitles in Latvian).
