Armed with a pocket-sized French dictionary and committed to change his national identity, a young Israeli comes to Paris. An unfortunate incident turns into an incredible luck: two wealthy Parisians ruch to take care of him as they are eager to add some spice to their life. This tragicomic and largely autobiographical story endeavors to reveal the feelings experienced by the director himself and the protagonist when they walked the streets of Paris. Film received Golden Bear at Berlinale.
