The film ties into one intriguing knot lives of several people as they have all met the police officer Krasts on a hot summer day to be all brought together on a winter’s full moon night. The intrigue develops among a couple of lovers, Gints and Elga, three participants of an adventure race with just one woman, Renate, in their team, a family of three generations, the father of which, Karlis, has died in a tragic accident during a hunt, Karlis’s daughter Aija, his former lover Livija, and a young girl hardened by life, who lives at a Christian home for expectant mothers. A detective twist is added by a portion of poison, which one of the involved will get. Will the punishment be deserved or is the destiny blind, indeed?
