2012/13 season

Live performance opera transmissions from the legendary New-York Metropolitan Opera in the cinema Kino Citadele.

Cinema Kino Citadele will proceed to give a pleasure to all opera-lovers by providing live opera performances transmissions from the legendary Metropolitan Opera in New York for upcoming season 2012/13. •    January 5 at 7 p.m. Hector Berlioz LES TROYENS;
•    January 19 at 7:55 p.m. Gaetano Donizetti MARIA STUARDA;
•    February 16 at 7:55 p.m. Giuseppe Verdi RIGOLETTO - new production;   
•    March 2 at 7 p.m. Richard Wagner PARSIFAL - new production;   
•    March 16 at 6 p.m. Riccardo Zandonai FRANCESCA DA RIMINI;
•    April 27 at 7 p.m. Georg Friedrich Händel GIULIO CESARE - new production.

This season seems to be special for us, because we will be delighted to see and listen to one of our own soloists – Elīna Garanča will sing in LA CLEMENZA DI TITO*.
